There is a small hole in the back of the pot for drainage (see ya root rot!) and the saucer makes it possible to grow herbs/flowers indoors while protecting your home. Please insure the pot has adequate sunlight and that your stick is planted in soil horizontally. *Seed growth is never a guarantee, always a quest!
